Anchor Down RV Resort

Douglas Lake is a great place for camping. One of the newer campgrounds is an RV resort that offers beautiful lake views and many recreational opportunities. Anchor Down is located in historic Dandridge. With 175 campsites, Anchor Down RV Resort has views of the Great Smoky Mountains as well as the lake.

It offers full hookups, concrete pads, bathhouses with private bathrooms and paved streets. In addition, there are laundry facilities, a playground, cable TV hookups, fire pits and outdoor fireplaces, cornhole game rentals, a large swimming pool complete with a water slide, a sandy beach with lake swimming, camp store, boat ramp, boat slip and jet ski dock rentals, firewood, golf cart rentals, beach volleyball area, paved walking trail and more.

The camping site rates are dependent on the location, whether you want lake view or lakefront. Your family will definitely stay busy at Anchor Down. During the colder months, from December through early March, the resort is closed.

Anchor Down is conveniently located off Highway 139, which makes it easily accessible to the attractions in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well. It is within 7 miles of the area’s popular Bass Pro Shop in Kodak. There are numerous attractions, restaurants, churches and stores nearby.
